PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Samuels, who serves as Special Counsel, also practices with The Construction Law Group, Vancouver, British Columbia has over 20 years experience in all phases of commercial and construction law and complex multi-party litigation both in the United States and Canada. He has handled complex delay and extras claims, large multi-building EIFS claims, as well as curtain wall, structural and other design and construction claims. He provides regular advice to clients with respect to determining appropriate methods of project delivery and the contract drafting solutions necessary to implement that advice.
AREAS OF PRACTICE
Mr. Samuels is admitted to practice law in both British Columbia and Colorado. His practice includes an active commercial and international law component as well as an emphasis in construction law and complex case litigation. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia.
As a result of his detailed knowledge of both Canadian and United States laws and his experience as an engineer, Mr. Samuels is in frequent demand as a mediator and arbitrator.
